The Center for Advanced Radiology and Neuroimaging (CARNi) at National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University is undertaking a National Science and Technology Council (NSTC) project to construct Taiwan’s first 7T MRI scanner for human research. To share this milestone with the academic community, we are hosting two in-person briefing sessions in northern and southern Taiwan.

• The current status of 7T MRI internationally and in Taiwan
• Scientific advantages of 7T compared with 3T
• Key literature in basic research and clinical applications
• Implications for Taiwan’s future research capacity
